BRAND GUIDELINES
CONTEXT
Climate risk calculation software company needed a highly experienced web designer with a keen eye for design and proficiency in Wix to build a simple yet visually appealing website. They required a strong grasp of Wix design features and the ability to create a website that aligns with their current brand guidelines. It was essential that the website is easy to navigate and designed to highlight the unique features of our software product. A creative mindset and a passion for building clean and visually engaging websites that meet user requirements were key.
CONCEPT
When creating this Wix website, it was important to follow the brand guidelines to ensure a consistent and cohesive look. One way to achieve this was by using the brand's light gradient colors for page backgrounds while using the main brand colors for different pages to create a visual hierarchy.
Adding drop shadows to images also helped create a 3D effect and add depth to the design.
Finally, utilizing an odd image layout kept the focus on the text, resulting in a website that is both visually pleasing and user-friendly.
RESPONSIVE
Adapting the website for mobile phone use is crucial in today's digital age, where more users access the internet from their mobile devices than ever before. To ensure the best user experience, the layout of the website was adjusted, and the content was resized to fit the smaller screen. By doing so, users can quickly and easily access the information they require without having to zoom in or scroll sideways to read the text.
CUSTOM
Unlike using templates, a custom website offered a more personalized experience for the user, with design elements and features that are tailored to the brand's specific needs. Custom icons and graphics were created to match the overall look and feel of the website, making the design cohesive and visually appealing.
For this location-specific software, custom location icons were integrated subtly across the site, providing users with a clear understanding of the software's relevance to their specific location.
